In Uncarrier 7.0 event T-Mobile announced to offer a Wi-Fi router, Personal Cellspot, for just $25 deposit. T-Mobile is the first carrier so far to make such announcement.
With a Wi-Fi router you don’t only make calls but also send texts over Wi-Fi connections. A Wi-Fi router is the best solution to all your issues, regarding network coverage.
You can also order Personal Cellspot online. The router will also be made available on all retail outlets very soon. According to TmoNews, T-Mobile was all set to make Personal Cellspot available at all retail outlets but could not do so because of a system issue.
Cellspot is an ASUS dual-band AC wireless router. If you buy an Asus AC router yourself it will cost you at least $200. So it is really a smart choice to get one from T-Mobile and you don’t have to pay $200. T-Mobile has not officially announced that $25 deposit has been waived instead the news has been confirmed by different T-Mobile customers who did not pay anything for Cellspot.
The carrier will also deliver the Wi-Fi router at your doorstep. The carrier is offering you the device for free but you have to deposit $25 if you are post-paid subscriber or $99 if you are a pre-paid subscriber, at the time of purchase.
